ウイルス

"OMG!! Is this really you?! *insert link here*"

"This weight loss pill really worked after X and I have tried it. Order it here: *insert link here*"

"My webcam is on, watch me get naughty ;) *insert link here*"

"You have some unread mail. Check it now. *insert fake link here*"

"Tired of the same partner all the time? Click here to find some horny people *insert link here*"

DAMMIT, CUT IT OUT ALREADY.

The above messages are examples of annoying crap I get through MSN, most likely due to the viruses going around. The infected will show up, drop me one of these messages in an attempt to infect me, and logout shortly after.

Troublesome.

What's even more jarring? Some of these messages sound like they are being sent from horny women, or "experienced" people. But the infected people are boys. YOUNG TEEN BOYS. It doesn't even TRY to disguise itself.

And some are silly enough to actually FALL for it?

Maybe that's how the virus spread about. But anyway, there's something common about these virus messages. If they send a link which, for some reason, contains your email, it's a virus link. Also, if the message differs from the contact's usual messaging habits (proper English used when the contact normally doesn't do that), it's probably got a virus link on it. Also, if someone sends a link with no proper explanation (unless you have requested for the link) afterwards, it's also likely a virus link.

So, yeah.
