End

A Levels are finally done!

Shall we review paper performance?

...Maybe not. Might as well enjoy myself right now. Results are in March, so it's a long way.

Oh well...

Wave 2

There goes the second week of A Levels. Fortunately, it wasn't too difficult.

Beginning the review, then.

Chemistry Paper 2 was a little difficult. A single question caught us all off-guard. What's worse is that it was worth 22 of 72 marks.

Ouch.

Yeah, I know. The inputs I got on the supposed answer to the question parts were so varied I don't know for certain how much I screwed up. Oh well. I should still be able to get that A.

Physics Paper 2 was quite okay. Except for planning. I'm not sure how badly I'll get penalised if my entire setup is wrong.

What's wrong with the setup?

The question asked to find the efficiency of a solar panel. The solar panel presented by the question is one for heating water. I used a solar panel to generate electricity instead.

...But I'll still get marks for technique since I still took measures to ensure accuracy, right? I mean, I still end up finding the efficiency of this solar panel, even though it's the wrong model.

You'd better hope that happens.

Economics Paper 1 was pretty good. Both case studies were on topics I practiced earlier, and I could come up with sufficient answers to all questions. Never before has my right hand moved so quickly.

You're feeling pretty good about this, aren't you?

Which would mean that I might be screwed. But this time, I sincerely believe this good feeling is not a trap this time.

Right then, the next week will present us with Chemistry 1, Physics 3, Economics 2, and H3 Pharmaceutical Chemistry. All in the first half of the week. Let's hope I get everything together then.

Stand by, ready.

Wave 1

So that cleans up the first week of A Levels. To be honest, it was easier than I thought.

Alright, let's review it.

Chemistry Paper 3 - Quite a number of questions were unheard of. However, everything was still doable. Just hope I don't mess one up horribly like last time.

GP - Awesomeness. I could get straight to work without pausing for too long to think. Essay had a simple question as I already did several other essays related to the topic, and the compre's AQ was simple to take on, since it stated "observations" rather than "arguments".

Math - Too easy. Could finish the paper with about an hour left on the clock. The A's more or less secured here.

Up for the next week, it's Chemistry 2, Physics 2, and Econs 1.

Standby, ready.
