Hair.

How exactly do anime characters maintain their hairstyles?

Well, it's because it's a little easier to recognize the character depending on their hairstyle, based on looks alone.

Still, it can get a bit ridiculous at times. Like a thoroughly crazy hairstyle holding its own across situations that would cause it to mess up a bit. Like, say, sleeping. Or standing on top of a speeding train.

You mean like Yugi Muto?

Yeah. His hair retains its rough shape after he is hoisted out of water from one point. Come on, if you had to have a crazy hairstyle like that you'd need pretty long hair.

Easy. He uses hair gel.

...Hair gel?

Yes, hair gel. Particularly the anime-only-heavy-duty hairgel.

Same kind Shobu Kirifuda uses?

Exactly.

No wonder few people in real life can have hair that becomes an Internet phenomenon.

Cake!

Was eating some cake earlier today, and I just realized something...

Hm?

You know when you get multi-layered cake that alternates between cake and cream? How exactly do you bake that?

I'm not exactly sure how it works...

See, if you bake the individual cake layers separately... there should be that crusty portion on the outer areas, but the cake's soft all around...

I don't think they'd bake the cake AND cream together either...

Oh, I know. It's a lie, there was no cake to begin with.

... -_-

Alright, alright, I kid. How do they do it...?

After the Storm

Hey, I see you're done with the exams.

Yup. Now I can breathe easier till Project Work kicks in.

So, how's it looking?

Pretty good. I think I can score As for the Sciences and Math. Econs and GP, I believe I can get a C or so.

Well, but Chinese...

Mm-hm, I see...

Yeah, been at it for 5 years and I've never scored well. It's like an unwinnable game. ._.

Huh...

Boss Rush.

Hey.

Oh, hi. It's been a long time since you last blogged.

Yeah, kinda caught up in studying and other things.

How's your arm?

Dressing's removed, scab's flaked off, but the tissue is still a bit inelastic. My right arm can move, but slightly restrained.

As usual, I suppose.

I'm not allowed to overstrain my right shoulder, but since it's the exam period there's little to carry.

So, how's GP?

I kinda handled it quite well, really. But the AQ at the end was difficult. I don't read enough newspaper...

Oh well. Got to hope for the best.
