Community

While applying for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, I have to do an essay test and a couple of interviews. Today happened to be the essay test.

I suppose the essay topic is something related to Medicine?

Actually, not always. Looking at the history of essay questions raised in the past, it appears that there is no set pattern nor common topic amongst the essay questions. Which means that there's no telling what they'll come up with.

So, in a sense, it's like your GP, just that you only have one question instead of 12 to work with.

Close enough. The topic was actually about community. Something like "describe your community and your place in it."

Oh my.

Yeah, I didn't see it coming. Fortunately, the broadness of the topic allowed me a lot of room to discuss, so the community I discussed was that of an online forum. In general.

An... online forum.

Hey, I can't go wrong if I fulfill the question's criteria, right?

Still, discussing something so out of the ordinary...

Ordinary is something I'm not always satisfied with.
